BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Supply chain risk fell during first quarter of 2014: Risk index

An index produced by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply shows that supply chain risk declined slightly during the first quarter of 2014, reports Supply Management.

The risk index's score for the quarter was 79.8, down from 82.2 in the fourth quarter of 2013, though businesses have been urged to remain vigilant.

Improved economic prospects in the UK, Germany and the US contributed to this fall, reports Supply Management.

Ukraine was moved into the 'very high risk' category amidst the crisis there.
