Business Insurance honors two benefits managers

Business Insurance announced Friday that Dianne Howard, director of risk and benefits management for the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida, is the 2014 Benefit Manager of the Year®.
Ms. Howard directs risk and benefits management for a school district that has 185 schools, 181,205 students and 21,449 employees.
Business Insurance also named Sarah Staggs, head of benefits for North America for Zurich American Insurance Co., a Schaumburg, Illinois-based unit of Swiss insurer Zurich Insurance Group, to the 2014 Benefit Management Honor Roll®.
Ms. Staggs oversees benefit plans for Zurich's U.S. and Canadian operations.
The honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges composed of last year's winner and benefits industry professionals.
Profiles of the winners will appear in the June 23 edition of Business Insurance.
