Thousands of demonstrators stormed key buildings in eastern Ukraine, Agence France-Presse reported. About 30 people carrying rifles and grenade-launchers in Lugansk city attacked the regional police headquarters.
Before that, they had seized the regional prosecutors' office. A Pro-Russian group recently attacked a pro-Ukrainian demonstration in Donetsk city. The United Stated ambassador to Ukraine said this was "terrorism, pure and simple."
