Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Shilling Ltd., located in Liss, Hampshire, England, Itasca, Ill.-based Gallagher announced Thursday.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Shilling is an employee benefits communication consultant that provides various related services for multinational clients, offering communication services such as strategic planning, benefit statements, change communication, design and production of pension booklets, brand design, HR communications, defined contribution guides and website services, according to Gallagher. Shilling specializes “in working with clients across the pensions and benefits industry with a focus on pension plan managers and trustees to pension plan members,” Gallagher said in a statement.
“Shilling is a unique opportunity for Gallagher. Not only are we partnering with a highly-respected team with extensive industry experience, but we also gain a new benefits communication resource in the U.K.," said Gallagher Chairman, President and CEO Patrick Gallagher, Jr., in the statement. "Their communication expertise will add significantly to our expanding client service capabilities, and their strong international relationships will complement Gallagher's U.K. employee benefits consulting operations.”
