Kennedy Ogutu, manager at Johncele Insurance Brokers Ltd., which recently won a 30 million Kenyan shilling ($345,600) tender for Nyamira county assembly, said due process was followed and the company won the tender though fair means, Kenyan daily The Star reported.
The Members of County Assembly had refused to fill forms to allow Johncele to proceed with service provision, arguing that the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005 was violated.
This resulted in an investigation into the tendering process.
