Lloyd’s of London insurer Novae Group P.L.C. has named Reeken Patel as chief risk officer, the company said Monday.
Mr. Patel currently is a partner in the general insurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. in London.
He will take up the CRO role at Novae in July, subject to regulatory approval.
Mr. Patel succeeds Ian Hilder, who is embarking on a trip to sail around the world.
“I have worked in the past with the senior management at Novae and have been extremely impressed with the quality of both the management and the business,” Mr. Patel said in a statement.
“I am excited to be joining the team at such an interesting time and look forward to helping them build on the significant progress that they have made,” he said.
