Turkey's general insurance market earned a profit of 768 million Turkish liras ($357 million) in 2013, "after four years of poor results," Fitch Ratings Inc. said in a report. Fitch said the country's insurance sector is growing strongly, Today's Zaman reported. "

Strong premium growth has been buoyed by strong growth in credit," the report said.
