BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The Council grows by four

Four firms, among the leading commercial insurance and employee benefits brokerages in the world, have joined The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, the council announced this week.

The four are Buck Consultants, Price Forbes, ProInsurance and Warner Pacific. Their admission to the council brings the number of new members thus far this year to 14, the council said.

“We're excited about this elite new class of member firms,” said Ken A. Crerar, president and CEO of the council, in a statement. “They cover the gamut, from employee benefits and HR consulting to wholesale and commercial property/casualty. These are some of the brightest brokers in the business and their respective voices and perspectives will challenge the dialogue within the council community.”
