Czech Republic: Insurance industry records modest premium growth in 2013

The Czech Republic's insurance sector recorded 1.9% year-on-year increase in gross written premium to 156.5 billion Czech koruna ($7.86 billion) in 2013, Xprimm reported.

Gross premium in the nonlife segment rose 4.16% to CZK 84.95 billion ($4.27 billion).

The property insurance segment registered premium growth of 2.8% to CZK 21.44 billion ($1.07 billion).
