Nation-wide strike halts Argentine economy

A nation-wide strike in Argentina over inflation concerns has paralyzed air, bus and train traffic, and closed down businesses and ports, The Associated Press reported.

The opposition branch of the country's largest union conglomeration claims that over a million workers stayed home. Labor boss Hugo Moyano said more and longer strikes in the future are likely if the government does not resolve the issues.
