Cameroon: Moroccan insurers launch operations

Two major Moroccan insurers – RMA Watanya S.A and Wafa Assurance S.A. – are setting up operations in Cameroon, Middle East Insurance Review reported.

Sources revealed that RMA Watanya has acquired Beneficial General Insurance S.A. and Beneficial Life Insurance S.A. in Cameroon. Wafa Assurance said it is establishing greenfield set-ups in Cameroon.
