BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Barbara Turley-McIntyre of the Co-operators insurance agency said the Alberta flood cost Canada's economy $4.8 billion Canadian ($4.35 billion) in economic losses, The Vancouver Sun reported.

The cost of clean-up amounted to $1.9 billion Canadian ($1.72 billion), and most of it was borne by the government.

Ms. Turley-McIntyre said the recent extreme weather events show that Canadians are vulnerable to the effects of global climate change.
