Algeria: Insurance premiums rose 15% in 2013

Algeria's insurance industry took 15% more premiums at 113.9 billion Algerian dinars ($1.44 billion) in 2013 than the year before, the National Insurance Council (Conseil National des Assurances) said.

The nonlife segment, accounting for 93% of the industry, reported premiums of DZD 105.9 billion ($1.33 billion), Middle East Insurance Review reported.
