Windstorm Tini, also known as Windstorm Darwin, which hit Ireland and the United Kingdom in February, caused insured property losses of about €245 million ($337.9 million), according to an initial estimate by catastrophe insurance data company Perils A.G.

Zurich-based Perils said Wednesday that it would provide an updated estimate of losses from the storm by May 12.

Meanwhile, Perils said it had updated its loss estimate for insured property losses from Windstorm Dirk, which affected France and the United Kingdom Dec. 23-25, to €352 million ($485.5 million) from an initial estimate of €275 million ($379.3 million).
