Accidents on power lines halve electricity supply from Ukraine to Crimea

Power supply to Crimea has been reduced by 50% and parts of the region are experiencing power outages because of two accidents on power lines coming from Ukraine, Crimean energy company DTEK Krymenergo said.

Earlier, Crimean Vice-Prime Minister Rustam Temirgaliev described the reduction of the energy supply as "blackmail” on behalf of Kiev, RT reported.
