To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Canada: Law firms go after General Motors for poor handling of ignition switch recall

General Motors Co. is facing class action lawsuits over its handling of a recall of defective ignition switches in 1.6 million cars worldwide.

Around 235,000 of those cars were sold in Canada, CBC reported. Two Canadian law firms – Merchant Law Group L.L.P. and Sutts, Strosberg L.L.P. – are seeking to represent and compensate Canadians who owned the affected vehicles. Merchant Law Group has filed claims in Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan against the automaker.
