South Korea culls more than 6% of poultry to curb bird flu

South Korea has culled more than 6% of its poultry in order to curb the spread of bird flu, government officials said.

Data from the agriculture ministry suggests that 10.16 million farm birds have been slaughtered to date, World Poultry reported.

A ministry official said the disease has been reported at around 28 poultry farms.
