Spain: Consortium pays $69.4 million in compensation related to 2004 train bombings

Spanish insurance compensation consortium Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros said it has paid around €50.5 million ($69.4 million) in compensation after the 2004 Madrid train bombings, reports Lainformacion.com.

Records show that 1,264 claims were filed.

The bombings were recorded by the consortium as a major event.
