South Korea: Hackers steal data of 12 million phone company customers

Cyber hackers stole personal data of 12 million customers by breaking into the computer system used by South Korea's telecommunication service provider KT Corp., Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency commissioner Lee Sang-Won said in a statement obtained by CNN.

In January, an employee of the Korea Credit Bureau, a company that offers fraud detection services, stole personal details of 20 million credit card customers.
