South Korea: Nonlife insurers' solvency ratio drops in fourth quarter of 2013

South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service said insurers' capital adequacy ratio for the fourth quarter of 2013 declined from the previous quarter, reports Global Post citing Yonhap News Agency.

The watchdog said the average solvency margin ratio for nonlife insurers stood at 261.1% at the end of December 2013, down 10.1 percentage points from the previous quarter.
