BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

David Bidmead will assume the role of global multinational client service leader and chair of Marsh L.L.C.’s multinational executive committee effective April 1, the broker said in a statement Wednesday.

He succeeds Alban Laloum, who left the firm in December.

Robert Bentley, president of Marsh’s U.S. and Canada division, will assume Mr. Bidmead’s current responsibilities.

In his new role, Mr. Bidmead will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Marsh’s multinational client service team and delivery approach, reporting to Joe McSweeny, president of global sales.

“Dave Bidmead is a proven leader and visionary change agent with a lengthy record of accomplishments,” Mr. McSweeny, said in the statement. “As the number of multinational companies emanating from within and outside the U.S. continues to grow, having someone of Dave’s caliber overseeing our global client service delivery strategy will ensure that we are consistently bringing the best of Marsh to our clients working in a multicountry environment.”

Mr. Bidmead most recently served as CEO of Marsh USA, and also served as West zone leader and Pacific region head and CEO of Marsh Australia.

He is based in New York.
