2014 Risk Manager of the Year®, Risk Management Honor Roll® announced

Business Insurance announced Wednesday that William M. Zachry, vice president of risk management at supermarket chain Safeway Inc., is the 2014 Risk Manager of the Year®.
In addition to his risk management work at Pleasanton, Calif.-based Safeway, Mr. Zachry has been a champion of workers compensation system reform in California.
Business Insurance also named the 2014 Risk Management Honor Roll® members. They are Eamonn Cunningham, chief risk officer at Westfield Group, a Sydney-based retail property management and development company, and Brett E. Dahl, state risk manager/administrator of the risk management and tort defense division of the state of Montana.
The honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges composed of former honorees, and risk management and insurance industry executives.
The awards will be presented at the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc.'s annual “Conference & Exhibition,” which will be held April 27-30 in Denver.
