Guernsey ferry operator says strike has cost it $837,350

Guernsey-based Condor Ferries has said that a strike by French crew has cost it around 500,000 ($837,350) since the action began on Feb. 6 2014, BBC reported.

The crew is demanding better pay and conditions, among other things, and discussions are underway.

A Condor spokesman said the ferry operator cannot afford further losses to business.
