BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

East African farmers to benefit from weather insurance deal

The International Finance Corp. has signed $3.9 million worth of grant agreements to expand weather insurance pilot to one million East African farmers, Artemis.bm reported.

Some regions in East Africa are vulnerable to drought and erratic rainfall levels.

The collaboration with the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture will provide small-scale farmers in Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania with coverage under the weather index insurance scheme.
