To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

India: Insurance regulator calls for increased focus on agriculture insurance

T.S. Vijayan, chairman of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, said India's insurance market should step up its focus on agricultural insurance products and their distribution, reports The Hindu Business Line.

Mr. Vijayan said there is a bigger scope for expansion in the segment.

He said "brokers may focus on agriculture, allied sectors and disaster management insurance products being aided by geometric and remote-sensing technologies."
