Japan: Heavy snow in Tokyo disrupts flights, train services

Tokyo, Japan, experienced its biggest snowfall in 20 years, reaching 27 centimeters on Feb. 8 2014, the Asahi Shimbun reported.

Trains and airlines faced delays and cancellations because of the heavy snowfall and strong winds.

Tokyo Electric Power Co. said 60,800 households in Ibaraki, Tokyo and Chiba prefectures faced power cuts.
