Ireland: Bill for flood damage estimated at $136.3 million

The Irish government estimates that damage from the recent flooding will cost €100 million ($136.3 million), The Irish Independent reported.

Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan said a stimulus package for flood-hit cities and towns, providing details on measures of insurance for properties, will soon be announced.
