Fierce storms batter Europe

Storms have caused blackouts, shipwrecks and disruption across Europe, Sky News reported.

The seafront at San Sebastián, Spain, has suffered an estimated €4.5 million ($6 million) in damage. A power line fell into the roof of a store belonging to Renault S.A. in Logatec, Slovenia. Twenty nine areas in France have been placed on alert.
