Earthquake causes damage on Greek island

A strong earthquake hit the western Greek island of Kefalonia, damaging homes, shops and roads and cutting water and power supplies to some areas, The Associated Press reported.

Kefalonia Mayor Alexandros Parisis said the port at Lixouri suffered damage.

On Jan. 26 2014, a 5.9-magnitude quake shook the island.
