Ukraine: Insurance of property risks in oil & gas sector made mandatory

Ukraine on Jan. 29 announced new rules governing insurance for developments and projects in the oil and gas sector, Forinsurer reported.

A statement in an approval order from Cabinet Ministers says that it is mandatory to have insurance in place for property risks in the oil and gas sector. The document states that the move is aimed at ensuring compensation in event of accidents that cause damage to property.
