Ireland: Cyber insurance sales on the rise as threats increaseReprints
Cyber insurance sales in Ireland have increased by nearly a third during the last three months as the threat of cyber-attacks increases, the Irish Independent reports.
Research shows that more than 50% of Irish companies were targeted in 2013.
American International Group Inc. said its cyber insurance offering in Ireland initially attracted big companies, but is now also drawing small and mid-sized companies.
Some other insurers are considering venturing into this segment to tap the demand, the Irish Independent reported.
