BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Scor head Denis Kessler named to IIS Hall of Fame

The International Insurance Society Inc. on Tuesday said Denis Kessler, chairman and CEO of Scor S.E., has been named to its Insurance Hall of Fame.

Mr. Kessler, who has led Scor since 2002, will be inducted at a gala dinner during the IIS' 50th annual gathering in London in June, the IIS said in a statement.

The IIS also will honor the late Robert J. Kiln, who more than 50 years ago founded Lloyd's of London firm R.J. Kiln & Co. Ltd.

“Our 2014 Insurance Hall of Fame laureates embody the spirit of the Insurance Hall of Fame through their visionary leadership, which has brought great benefit not only to the insurance industry but to society as a whole,” IIS Chairman Greig Woodring said in the statement.
