BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Reinsurer Scor appoints Knüpling as chief risk officer

Reinsurer Scor S.E. has appointed Frieder Knüpling as chief risk officer.

SCOR announced Friday that Mr. Knüpling, previously deputy CRO, will succeed Philippe Trainar, who has been appointed chief economist and senior global adviser to the chairman.

In addition, Scor announced that Paolo De Martin has returned from a six-month sabbatical and has been appointed CEO of Scor Global Life.

Mr. De Martin, previously chief financial officer of Scor, succeeds Gilles Meyer, who becomes deputy CEO of Scor Global Life, the company said.

All the executives are based in Paris.
