India's insurance regulator has formed a committee that will seek opportunities for increasing foreign direct investment limit in intermediaries, The Mint reported.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has received references asking it to consider increasing the foreign shareholding in insurance brokers to 100% from the existing 26%.
