Allianz Malaysia's general insurance arm looks at 10% growthReprints
The general insurance segment of Allianz Malaysia Bhd. is looking to grow its customer base by around 10% in 2014, The Malaysian Reserve reported.
Its subsidiary Allianz General Insurance Co. Bhd., which held a market share of around 12.3% till the third-quarter of 2013, may soon overtake Kurnia Insurans Bhd. which holds around 13.2% market share.
A report by Fitch Ratings Inc. on the industry's outlook for 2014 said "demand for insurance products is likely to continue to grow in the near-term."
