Philippines: Three firms face damage suit for blast

Three firms linked to Philippine-based Ayala Corp. are facing 30.2 million Philippine pesos ($676,480) damage case before a court in connection to the blast on May 31, 2013 that claimed the lives of four people, Sun Star reported.

A complainant is demanding compensation from Alveoland Corp., Makati Development Corp., and Bonifacio Gas Corp. for failing to ensure a mandatory safety precaution against gas leak, which caused the blast.
