Storm force and hurricane force winds that hit Ireland in December 2013 is set to cost insurer FBD Holdings P.L.C. between €4 million ($5.4 million) and €5 million ($6.7 million) in additional claims, The Irish Examiner reported.

The stormy weather is likely to cost the insurance sector between €30 million ($40.7 million) and €40 million ($54.3 million) in additional claims.
