U.K.: More than 130 compensation claims for London riots damage unpaid, says Minister

Steve Reed, Shadow Home Office Minister, said more than 130 compensation claims for damage caused during the August 2011 London riots remains unpaid, The Guardian reported.

Mr. Reed said "just 15% of the money claimed has been paid out."

Policing Minister Damian Green said that till now compensation amounting to 43 million ($70.5 million) has been paid out.
