India: Compensation given to families of Hindustan Petroleum blast victims

Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. refinery has paid compensation to the families of workers who died in a cooling tower blast on Aug. 23, 2013, The Hindu Business Line reported.

A total sum of 32 million Indian rupees ($513,600) was distributed as compensation. The blast claimed the lives of 28 people.
