U.K.: Gatwick Airport sets aside $3.3 million to compensate for service disruption

Gatwick Airport Ltd. has set aside £2 million ($3.3 million) to compensate passengers who were affected by flight cancellations because of power cuts from adverse weather conditions, The Argus reported.

The airport's executives said the weather conditions resulted in "significant damage" to an electrical substation.
