South Korea: Strike estimated to cost cement companies $19 million

South Korea's cement firms estimate a combined loss of 20 billion South Korean won ($18.9 million) from a 22-day strike by railroad workers that disrupted transportation of cement, The Korea Economic Daily reported.

The Korea Cement Association said that during the strike its member firms suffered losses of KRW 800 million to KRW 900 million ($758,400 to $853,200) a day.
