Serbia: New insurance law postponed until 2014

Serbia's government plans to float new insurance legislation in 2014 after “lengthy consultations with insurance companies,” InSerbia News reported.

The legislation would extend the deadline for composite insurers to separate their life and nonlife businesses to the end of 2014, the country's Finance Minister Lazar Krstic said. The draft bill also would liberalize the natural disaster insurance market.
