Portugal: Two candidates bid for insurer Caixa Seguros e Saúde

Two candidates have presented binding bids for the privatization of Portugal's insurer Caixa Seguros e Saúde SGPS S.A., Reuters reported.

The two candidates include Chinese Group Fosun International Ltd. and a unit of Apollo Global Management L.L.C. Local media have said the government expects CGD to pocket over 1 billion euros ($1.37 billion) from the sale.
