Thailand's nonlife insurance sector could register lower growth in 2014 because of the drop in demand for industrial all risk and auto policies, the Thai General Insurance Association said.

Political tension has delayed several projects, affecting the demand for industrial all risk policies.

The association president Anon Vangvasu said the nonlife insurance business is estimated to grow by 10% to 15% in 2014, compared with 15% in 2013, The Nation reported.
