Marsh expands Nova Scotia captive business

Marsh Inc. has expanded its captive solutions group in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to roll out new global initiatives and training to other offices.
The location has been growing its captive insurance servicing operation since it opened in 2006 and works with more than 300 captives worldwide, Nova Scotia Business Inc., the province's economic development agency, said Monday in a statement.
“Our Halifax office is recognized for its productivity, efficiency, and they are consistently early adopters of new technology we've introduced,” Julie Boucher, practice leader of the captive solutions group, said in the statement. “The office will be instrumental in rolling out our new global initiatives to our Marsh captive solutions offices around the world.”
