BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Brazil: Zurich names new general insurance commercial manager in Bahia

Zurich Insurance Co. Ltd. has expanded its Brazilian operations with the appointment of Jean Marcos Machado Silva as commercial manager for general insurance in the north-eastern state of Bahia, Segs.com.br reports.

With this appointment, the insurer looks to tap unexplored opportunities in the region, which has a strong industrial presence.

Mr. Machado said that the insurer will continue working heavily on "multi-risk segments" and also focus on the corporate segment.
