BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has named Lesley Harding as CEO of its global captive practice in Europe, effective March 1.

She will be reporting to Malcolm Cutts-Watson, chairman of Willis global practice-Europe, the broker announced Thursday.

Ms. Harding joined Willis in 2003 and most recently served as a client advocate in the company's global solutions team. Previously, she worked at Swiss Re Ltd. and the European operations at Arch Capital Group Ltd.

“We see great potential in Europe for the growth of captives,” said Mr. Cutts-Watson in a statement. “This is because organizations are seeking to reduce their dependence on the commercial insurance market and increasingly looking at alternative means of funding risks. A captive provides a structured approach to the management of retained risk, generating financial savings and operational benefits.”
