To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The new Council for Insuring Private Clients has named four executives to its board of directors, the CIPC announced Wednesday.

The CIPC was founded by Dallas-based electronic insurance exchange MarketScout last year with the strategic support of Ace Group, American International Group and Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. to focus on implementing best practices and risk management techniques for insuring the personal assets of private clients. Membership is open to any agent or insurer focusing on insuring high net worth individuals.

The group's founding board of directors are, Jerry Hourihan, senior vice president and national sales manager-private client group at AIG; Richard Kerr, CEO of MarketScout; Lee Roth, personal insurance executive at Fireman's Fund; and David Spencer, regional vice president at Ace Private Risk Services.

The group will hold iys first conference in Dallas April 9-10.
