BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Marsh Inc. has named Eugene “Tripp” Sheehan as its U.S. financial institutions practice leader.

Mr. Sheehan first joined Marsh in 1993 and most recently served as U.S. directors and officers liability practice leader, the broker said in a statement Friday. He succeeds Jill Sulkes, who left Marsh to serve as executive vice president of Willis of New York Inc. in August.

“Financial institutions are operating in an increasingly challenging environment due to global macroeconomic volatility, a plethora of new regulations, increased regulatory scrutiny, evolving capital requirements, and other issues,” Mr. Sheehan said in a statement. “The ability to identify, quantify and manage risk has never been more important for these firms. I'm excited about the opportunity to lead such a distinguished group at Marsh and to help our financial institution clients stay abreast of the evolving risk landscape and better manage their risks.”

Mr. Sheehan is based in Boston.
