Endurance Specialty names John Kuhn CEO of global insurance

Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. has named John Kuhn as CEO of global insurance, effective next week.
In this newly created position, Mr. Kuhn will be responsible for the United States, Bermuda and international insurance operations for the insurer and reinsurer. He will be based in Endurance's Pembroke, Bermuda office.
Most recently, he was chief underwriting officer at Axis Insurance, the insurance segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Ltd.
His appointment is subject to regulatory approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.
